Canadian Folk-Roots Artist, Andy Griffiths, has recently released his upbeat children's album entitled 'OUR CAT FLASH'. Featuring mostly songs Andy has written and a couple of classic children's song favourites. This album was realised with the help of some very good friends ... in fact … some of Canada's finest musicians! Including Juno award winning, Stephen Fearing, who played some guitar on the album.

Andy's love of music has led him to write many original songs. His family, including his pets, and friends have been a key source of inspiration for the songs he writes. He also likes to learn to play, and sing, songs written by other people.  
 
He began playing music in rock bands in high school. And that was .... well … let's see .... quite a few years ago. Over the years Andy has played many different styles of music and in several different bands. All of these influences help form the songs he writes … and makes for an interesting and diverse selection of tunes. 
 
When Andy's two daughters were younger, he enjoyed entertaining them by playing sing-along songs for them. Daddy, Cory and Dayna had a lot of fun singing songs together. Since then, Andy wrote and recorded two full length solo albums of folk rock music for moms and dads … which you can find at  www.andygriffiths.ca  Even though his girls are all grown up now, Andy never forgot how much fun he had playing music with his kids. After listening to some of his earlier kids song demo tapes, he decided it was time to write some new songs and record a family / children’s album!
